I see my mom so sad. I asked her why she was crying so much lately. I was worried. What had happened. She then told me about #MahsaAmini and what is going on in Iran. Although she left Iran when she was very young, she still feels the pain of what her people are going through. And she says she felt helpless and also like a coward too. Because she sits in our warm and safe house in the UK while Iranians are being killed in the streets in Iran. A part of me is happy that my mom is not in Iran, because I wouldn't want her on those streets. I don't want her to die. Then I think about all the girls in Iran who have lost or are going to lose their mother, father, sister or brother to the bad people who are killing them. Then I feel horrible and helpless too.
I have designed this T-shirt because #IAmMahsaAmini and ALL of the proceeds will be donated to AMNESTY. I will design a few more in the next coming days.
It is okay if you don't buy the t-shirt. What I really want you to do is to share the stories you see on IG and bring awareness to what is going on in Iran. Please help the people of Iran. Please be their voice.
